The American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons (ASTMJS) is a non-profit organization of surgical specialists dedicated to the management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Members have made significant contributions to the field through clinical, research and educational endeavors.
Our Mission
ASTMJS is committed to the care of persons with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. The goal of the society is to advance and improve our understanding of the pathophysiology and clinical ramifications involved in the rehabilitation of such persons and the most effective solution of their problems. ASTMJS wants to encourage by every appropriate means the improvement of health care services provided to persons suffering from TMJ disorders in order to improve their quality of life.
